About the Creator
Hi, I'm Evelina Hartwell — a lifelong baker, chocolate enthusiast, and former pastry assistant in London’s oldest family-run chocolaterie. After years of working in kitchens and testing recipes in my small Halifax kitchen, I created this site to share what I’ve learned: that the best desserts aren’t made with perfection, but with presence. Every recipe here has been tried, tweaked, and tasted by friends, family, and curious neighbours — no fancy tools, no shortcuts, just real baking.
